Ideas that Made AI possible

 

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence covers a range of techniques that appear as sentiment behavior by the computer. For example, AI is used to recognize faces in photographs, beat the world champion in chess, and process your speech when you speak to your assistant like SIRI, ALEXA, CORTONA etc.

We will explore some of the ideas that made AI possible :

1. Search 

Finding a solution to a problem, like a navigator app that finds the best route from your origin to the destination, or like playing a game figuring out the next move.

 

2. Knowledge 

Representing information and drawing inferences from it.Knowledge is a familiarity, awareness, or understanding of someone or something, such as facts, skills, or objects. By most accounts, knowledge can be acquired in many different ways and from many sources, including but not limited to perception

 

3. Uncertainty

Dealing with uncertain events using probability.

Uncertainty refers to epistemic situations involving imperfect or unknown information. It applies to predictions of future events.

 

4. Optimization 

Finding not a correct way to solve a problem but a better--or the--best way to solve it.

 

5. Learning 

Improving performance based on access to data and information. For example your email is able to distinguish between a spam email and a not spam email based on the past experience.

 

6. Neural Networks

A program structure inspired by a human brain to perform the task effectively.

A neural network is a series of algorithms that endeavors to recognize underlying relationships in a set of data through a process that mimics the way the human brain operates.

 

 

7. Language

Processing natural language, which is produced and understood by humans.
